At SAC, our greatest strength is our dedicated coaching team. Every coach brings a wealth of knowledge, patience, and passion to the pool.

Coach Chris

Head Coach of SAC

Coach Chris is the Head Coach of SAC with extensive experience in youth swimming development in England. He is ASCA qualified and focuses on structured, high-quality training that develops technique, motivation, and team culture. Coach Chris has been coaching in Saigon for the past three years across both developmental and competitive programmes.

Coach Khoa

Swimming Instructor

Coach Khoa is a swimming coach with over 20 years of experience and holds all required coaching and water safety certifications. His teaching style is safe, engaging, and easy to follow, making him suitable for swimmers of all ages, from children to adults. He focuses on building strong technique alongside essential water safety skills so every swimmer feels confident and secure in the water.

Coach Minh

Swimming Instructor

Coach Minh is a former competitive swimmer trained by professional coaches and certified in water rescue and aquatic safety. With 22 years of coaching experience, he teaches swimmers from age 4 through to advanced levels. His approach combines clear instruction with a fun, motivating environment that builds confidence, enjoyment, and steady progress.

Coach Tung

Swimming Instructor

Coach Tung has 18 years of experience as a swimming coach and holds all nationally recognised coaching and water safety certifications in Vietnam. His approach is safe, positive, and accessible for swimmers of all ages, from young children to adults. He focuses on correct technique and essential water safety skills to help swimmers become confident and independent in the water.

Coach Thang

Swimming Instructor

With a background as a Water Polo athlete, Coach Thang has been involved in swimming and aquatic sports since the 1990s. He has taught swimming at schools including Le Hong Phong, Le Quy Don, Marie Curie, Nguyen Trai High School, Colette Secondary School, and SSIS. His clear and supportive style helps students feel comfortable developing strong technique and confidence.

Shelly

Swim Programme Supervisor

Shelly is the Swim Programme Supervisor and oversees safety and safeguarding across all swimming classes. With extensive experience working with children in educational settings, she ensures high safety standards are maintained at all times. She also supports programme administration and serves as a key point of contact for parents, working closely with coaches and lifeguards.
